An excellent opportunity for an ER Advisor to take ownership of complex employee relations matters across a multi-site organisation. Reporting to the HR Director, you will provide practical ER advice and coach managers across all levels of the business.

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating across multiple sites in a fast-paced, operational environment. Due to continued growth and restructuring, they are looking to strengthen their HR team with an experienced ER Advisor.

Description

  • Offer professional advice and support on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Assist managers in handling performance management and absence management cases.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
  • Provide training and coaching to managers on HR policies and employee relations topics.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on initiatives and projects.
  • Support organisational change and restructuring where required.
  • Work across multiple sites and build strong relationships with operational teams.
  • Analyse employee relations trends and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the HR Director on wider people matters.

Profile

  • A successful ER Advisor should have strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong experience in an ER-focused HR Advisor or Senior ER role.
  • Practical, commercially minded and solutions-focused.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • TUPE experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Experience within logistics, transport, aviation, manufacturing, facilities, hospitality, healthcare or a similar sector would be advantageous.
