We're looking for an experienced Events Manager to take ownership of a diverse programme of events, from industry conferences and exhibitions to stakeholder and partner-led activities.
A hands on role - you'll lead event planning and delivery from end to end, managing logistics, suppliers, budgets and stakeholder engagement to ensure every event is delivered to a high standard and achieves its objectives.

You'll have experience delivering conferences, exhibitions or large-scale events in a membership organisation, public body, cultural institution, research environment, trade association or similarly stakeholder-focused setting.
Description
- Planning and delivering a programme of UK and international events
- Managing event logistics, venues, suppliers, exhibitors and promotional materials
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Managing budgets, contracts and supplier negotiations
- Monitoring event performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring consistent brand representation across all event activity
- Identifying opportunities through memberships, sponsorships and partnershipsProfile
A successful Events Manager should have:
- Strong Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing suppliers, contracts and budgets
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- The ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects
- A willingness to travel occasionally in the UK and internationally
Job Offer
Salary circa £45k
- Hybrid working
This is a 12 month maternity cover contract.
