Description
  • Maintaining and developing standard costing models across materials, labour, and overheads
  • Producing accurate product costing and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis
  • Delivering detailed monthly variance analysis, including price, usage, labour, and overhead variances
  • Investigating variances and working with operational teams to implement corrective actions
  • Managing inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Supporting stock counts, reconciliations, and identifying obsolete or slow-moving stock
  • Partnering with production and operations teams to improve efficiency, utilisation, waste reduction, and cost control
  • Analysing product and customer profitability, highlighting margin improvement opportunities
  • Supporting pricing decisions with accurate costing information
  • Maintaining costing data within ERP systems and driving process improvements
  • Producing management reports covering cost performance, inventory movements, and manufacturing KPIs
