We are seeking an experienced interim finance professional to support the commercial finance team during a period of transition. This role combines key elements of Finance Business Partnering with responsibility for the management, control, and optimisation of the trade spend system.

You will play a critical business‑facing role supporting a complex wholesale sales channel, ensuring robust financial controls, smooth month‑end processes, high‑quality data management, and effective partnering with internal stakeholders and external system providers.
- Lead day‑to‑day management of the trade spend system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
- Oversee and improve processes related to trade spend - the largest cost on the P&L.
- Work closely with Sales teams to ensure correct promotional planning, approvals, and accruals.
- Partner with the third‑party client success manager supporting the trade spend platform.
- Strengthen and maintain financial controls around trade spend, accruals, claims, and promotions.
- Collaborate with global IT teams on system changes, enhancements, and integrations.
- Roll out best‑practice processes to Sales and internal users to ensure consistent and compliant use of financial systems.
- Execute light‑touch month‑end processes, including:
- Extracting and validating trade spend data
- Reviewing and preparing accruals
- Ensuring data completeness and accuracy for management accounts
This position is ideal for a hands‑on, commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable navigating complex sales structures and who has strong systems, controls, and stakeholder‑management experience.
- Experience in commercial finance, management accounting, or finance business partnering.
- Strong understanding of trade spend, promotional investment, or customer profitability.
- Confident working with financial systems, ideally promotional or trade spend platforms.
- Excellent data accuracy, controls mindset, and ability to challenge constructively.
- Experience supporting complex sales structures.
- Be immediately available and in commutable distance of Windsor 2x per week.
