Description
- Support the planning and delivery of quarterly financial reporting cycles, interim reporting and annual financial statements.
- Assist with group consolidation activities and the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts.
- Prepare draft financial reporting outputs, board papers and supporting documentation.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors, coordinating information requests and supporting audit activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Ideally a 1st time mover from practice where you have experience preparing and/or auditing statutory financial statements
- Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and reporting processes within a regulated environment.
- Exposure to insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
