Distribution/Logistics Midlands with UK wide travel Hybrid
Michael Page HR are excited to partner with a Global logistics business with a significant UK footprint to appoint for a varied and progressive Senior HR Advisor role to join a busy HR Team. You will be Midlands-based with flexibility to travel to multiple sites around the UK. The frequency of travel will be business needed dependent.
The role of Senior HR Advisor is a fast-paced, varied and generalist role, supporting with a wide range of HR matters including project work and supporting with strategic initiatives. Reporting to a Regional HR Manager, you will work autonomously taking responsibility for multiple distribution sites around the UK, partnering with management and leadership at each site to achieve their commercial and people objectives.
- Provide commercially focused HR guidance to managers/leaders
- Collaborate with leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Support employee relations, including complex matters - ensure matters are resolved promptly
- Manage a range of HR projects such as engagement, well-being initiatives
- Continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
- Analyse HR data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support organisational change and development initiatives.
- Support with talent management and succession planning
- Work with HR leaders to embed the HR strategy profile
This is an exciting and varied role, you will have a good level of autonomy and involvement in HR projects and strategy offering exceptionally career development and progression in a very successful organisation.
Ideal applicants will have a proven background as a HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner within a busy fast-paced sector. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have worked within a multi-site organisation and be comfortable with UK wide travel. You will manage your own diary and have flexibility to work at home or from sites as business needs require.
