As the Accountant with our client in Wigan, you'll handle the day-to-day financial operations within the Manufacturing industry, ensuring smooth and accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in supporting the business by managing budgets, analysing financial data, and providing insights to aid decision-making. Client Details This organisation operates within the Manufacturing industry and is based in Wigan. Description Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support decision-making. Produce financial forecasts and reports to assist in strategic planning. Collaborate with other departments to support financial performance and cost control. Oversee month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Assist in audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to queries. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions where appropriate. Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks.Profile A successful Senior Management Accountant should have: Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in the field. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with attention to detail. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial issues.Job Offer Salary ranging from £34,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience. Hybrid working available after six months (three days in the office, two days from home). 24 days of annual leave plus your birthday off.
