Leading manufacturing and operational teams to achieve business and site KPIs.
Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across the facility.
Ensuring compliance with all health & safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
Managing labour utilisation, productivity improvements, waste reduction and operational costs.
Developing, coaching and mentoring operational leaders to build capability and succession within the team.
Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, HR and Finance teams to achieve site objectives.
Supporting operational transformation, capital investment projects and business improvement programmes.
Monitoring operational budgets and implementing corrective actions where required.
Driving efficiency, throughput, OTIF performance and customer service improvements.
Supporting customer demands within highly regulated industrial, defence and aerospace environments.
Creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement across the operation.
Profile
A successful Interim Operations Manager should have:
Significant experience within a senior manufacturing or operations leadership role.
Previous experience in industrial manufacturing, aerospace, defence, engineering or precision manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production management and operational performance improvement.
Demonstrated success in delivering productivity, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
