The client is a large Indian conglomerate which is heavily expanding in the renewable energy space. They have a presence at a pan-India level and are looking to scale up the renewable energy business in the coming years.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to build the C&I business in West and South India.
- Identify potential clients and build strong relationships to drive growth in the C&I segment.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive strategies across multiple industries.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and pipeline progress regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of service delivery.
The Successful Applicant:
- At least 8+ years of experience in business development in the renewable energy space, specifically focusing on C&I clients.
- A strong background in sales or business development in the open access space in renewable energy.
- Independently and successfully concluded long term C&I power sale recently.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.
- A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets.
