Job Description:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage Plant Heads across multiple facilities, along with Automation, Supply Chain, and IT leadership, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals and objectives. Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency, optimize costs, and drive process excellence across all plants. Collaborate with executive leadership to plan capacity expansions, adopt new technologies, and execute digital transformation initiatives.
- Operations & Plant Management: Oversee comprehensive plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and facility management. Maintain consistency in processes, compliance, and operational standards across multiple locations. Promote automation, lean manufacturing, and operational efficiency initiatives to achieve top-tier productivity.
- Supply Chain & IT: Manage supply chain functions such as sourcing, logistics, inventory control, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery. Direct IT and digital projects that improve operational visibility, support data-driven decisions, and automate processes.
- People & Project Management: Mentor and develop senior managers, fostering a high-performing leadership team across operations, automation, supply chain, and IT. Lead complex, high-impact projects including new facility launches, technology rollouts, and major process enhancements. Drive cross-functional collaboration, change management, and organizational alignment.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory standards across all operational units.
The Successful Applicant:
- Education: Graduate from a premier institute (such as IIT) in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: Over 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations within medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors. Proven success in driving operational excellence, process improvements, and strategic initiatives in regulated or high-quality manufacturing environments. Deep knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and relevant regulatory compliance standards.
