About Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading players in the chemical industry and also a listed organization. They are looking to hire the head of analytical R&D to provide technical and managerial leadership for three-state (Solid | Liquid | Gas) analytical chemistry services.
Job Description:
- Lead and manage the Analytical Chemistry function, including finished goods, intermediates, and product characterization using solid-state analytical techniques.
- Develop and implement innovative analytical methods to optimize production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within engineering and manufacturing departments.
- Provide technical expertise to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all industry-specific regulations and standards in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
- Monitor and analyze R&D performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong and current knowledge of laboratory SOPs, compliance requirements, and quality systems, ensuring full adherence within the Analytical Chemistry function.
- Mentor and guide the analytical R&D team to achieve excellence in their roles.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Head Analytical R&D should have:
- In Organic, Analytical, or Physical Chemistry preferred with at least 10 years+ of experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of Analytical Chemistry related to lubricant and petrochemical product development and application testing.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in analytical research and development.
- Expertise in the Oil industry, with a focus on Energy & Natural Resources.
- Proficiency in leading and managing R&D teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
