Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:
- Lead day-to-day production activities at the plant, ensuring timely execution aligned with marketing forecasts.
- Monitor and control batch processing, raw material charging, and yield management as per SOPs and safety norms.
- Supervise production scheduling, manpower deployment, shift operations, and documentation.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, maintain RM traceability, and record yields accurately for SAP entry.
- Drive efficiency, safety, and compliance across operations, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with planning, maintenance, quality, and EHS teams to ensure seamless plant performance.
- Ensure logbook accuracy, valve and utility checks, and adherence to plant protocols during all shifts.
The Successful Applicant
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Production, or Manufacturing.
- Brings 15-20 years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing setup, preferably in chemicals or process manufacturing.
- Has strong knowledge of SOPs, batch operations, yield tracking, and production resource planning.
- Demonstrates excellent team supervision, coordination, and process control skills.
- Is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to manage plant activities across shifts.
