Description The Accounts Payable Manager will; Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and promptly. Oversee invoice matching, coding and approval workflows to maintain clear and consistent records. Monitor payment schedules and help ensure suppliers receive payment in line with agreed terms. Review supplier account information and resolve invoice or payment queries efficiently. Maintain accurate accounts payable data to support reliable financial reporting. Work with colleagues across the Accounting & Finance department to address outstanding invoice issues. Identify practical ways to improve accounts payable processes and strengthen day-to-day controls. Provide clear updates on accounts payable activity, outstanding items and payment status.Profile A successful 'Accounts Payable Manager' should have: Strong practical experience managing accounts payable activities. Confidence processing invoices, maintaining supplier records and managing payment schedules. Good knowledge of invoice matching, coding and approval processes. The ability to investigate and resolve supplier invoice and payment queries. Strong attention to detail when reviewing financial information and account records.
