  • Description
  • Coordinate and process payroll data across 25 UK locations.
  • Validate payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Liaise with managers and stakeholders to collect payroll information.
  • Support the Payroll Manager with monthly payroll activities.
  • Work closely with an outsourced payroll provider to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and robust audit trails.
  • Process starters, leavers, salary changes and variable pay data.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and identify discrepancies for correction.
  • Utilise Excel and payroll systems to analyse and manage payroll data.
  • Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and internal policies.
  • Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion and accuracy.
  • Monitor payroll deadlines and support the successful completion of payroll cycles.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider payroll function as required.

  • Previous payroll administration experience within a busy payroll environment.
  • Experience processing payroll across multiple sites or business units.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll processes, including starters and leavers.
  • Confident user of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong data validation skills.
  • Ability to reconcile payroll information accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
