As the Head of Accounts Payable in North Lancashire, you'll oversee and manage the accounts payable function.
Your role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in payment processes.

Description Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
Implement and maintain effective processes to streamline accounts payable operations.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversee supplier relationships and resolve payment-related queries.
Prepare and review accounts payable reports for management.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
Profile A successful Head of Accounts Payable should have: Proven experience in managing an accounts payable function.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payment issues efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer Competitive salary of 50,000 to 70,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
Hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office.
