Description
Reporting to the UK General Manager, with a dotted line to the Group HR Director, you\’ll lead HR for the UK business, supporting approx. 200 employees a small team of two. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in change environments, enjoys process improvement, and is passionate about driving cultural and operational transformation.
Key responsibilities and project focuses
- Lead and deliver HR strategy aligned with business objectives
- Partner with SLT to develop management and leadership capability
- Support organisation design and operating model improvements
- Enhance Trade Union relationships, agreements, and policy development
- Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience
- Drive key projects in talent acquisition, talent & performance development and engagement
The UK HR Manager needs to be visible and engaged with stakeholders, so the business expects a 4-day on-site presence to make a real impact. That said, they still value flexibility and hybrid working, ensuring the right balance.
Profile
We are looking for a commercially minded HR professional with proven experience at management level, partnering with senior stakeholders. You will bring strong experience of complex employee relations, underpinned by excellent UK employment law knowledge. A background in employment law would be highly advantageous.
You may be an established HR Business Partner or Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role, or already have experience leading a HR function. Either way, we\’re looking for someone confident operating at a strategic level, while still happy to be hands-on when needed.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, ideally within a global, matrixed organisation. You\’ll be a calm and solutions-focused change agent, with a track record of delivering successful business change and transformation projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence at all levels are a must.
Job Offer
This role offers a salary of 60,000 to 70,000 per annum (dependant on experience), plus a suite of benefits.
