Transport Manager – Leading UK FMCG Business – Great opportunity to be part of a major growth journey Client Details Michael Page Logistics have exclusively partnered with an exciting client who are a Leading UK FMCG Business , supporting their search for a Transport Manager, operating one of their key sites in the UK. They are an easily recognisable, innovative, and growing company. This role will give the successful candidate a chance to truly flourish within a challenging, demanding, but rewarding environment with lots of room to progress along the way. Description The Transport Manager role will require the individual to: Report to the Head of Transport or equivalent. Manage a team of 50+ indirect heads through 4 direct reports. Be a CPC holder with O Licence responsibility. Manage customer relationships end to end. Manage Safety, legal and policy compliance including fleet audit compliance, Ops Ex standards compliance and delivery of a safe operation through the achievement of H&S standards and KPIs. Be accountable for people development and performance management within the operation. Be commutable to Oxforshire.Profile The successful candidate for the Transport Manager role will have the following skills and experiences: A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background – Essential Be Degree educated (or similar) – Advantageous Have worked in a FMCG environment previously – Essential Been responsible for a fleet of over 100 vehicles – Essential Possess a high level of commercial acumen – Essential A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously – Essential.
