This role is for a temporary Management Accountant in the Accounting & Finance department of a Public Sector and Government organisation located in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the financial stability and growth of the organisation through diligent management of finances and resources. Client Details This organisation is one of the largest Public Sector and Government entities in the region, providing critical services to communities across Ipswich and beyond. It employs over 5000 dedicated professionals and is known for its commitment to excellence and integrity in the provision of services. Description Temporary Management Accountant: Prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to ensure management makes well-informed decisions. Develop and manage financial systems and policies. Contribute to long-term business plans, forecasts and budgets. Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions. Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget. Inform key strategic decisions and formulate business strategies. Advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions. Analyse financial performance and forecast longer-term horizons.Profile A successful temporary Management Accountant should have: Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Experience in a similar finance role within the public sector. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
