As a Partnership Tax Manager in Gatwick, you'll handle tax compliance and advisory work for partnerships within the professional services industry. Client Details Our client is a thriving, top 10 accountancy firm in Gatwick. Description Review and approve partnership tax computations, including taxable profit allocations, investment income, and capital gains in line with partnership agreements. Analyse monthly financial reports to identify and track disallowable expenses. Review fixed asset records and prepare capital allowance calculations. Review and approve LLP partnership tax returns. Maintain tax models to calculate partner tax liabilities and deferred tax provisions. Provide tax compliance support and advice to partners on personal tax matters. Prepare partner tax payment forecasts and supporting information for personal tax return completion, including updates to provisional estimates. Manage payments on account reviews, reduction claims, and correspondence with partners and HMRC. Act as the primary liaison with HMRC on partnership tax matters. Advise on international tax issues, including withholding tax mitigation, double tax treaty claims, certificates of residence, and cross-border tax recoveries. Support tax governance activities, including regulatory reviews, SAO compliance, BRR readiness, and maintenance of tax controls. Promote the organisation's tax strategy through responsible tax practices and continuous improvement of tax operations.Profile A successful Partnership Tax Manager should have: Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Good planning and time management. Experience with either Alphatax or CCH Personal Tax software would be of assistance. A good knowledge of Excel. Experience with macros/VBA would be helpful, but not essential.
