Client Details A well-established FMCG business in Gloucestershire, recognised for its quality products, strong market presence, and commitment to continuous improvement. Description Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and journals. Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Produce monthly reporting packs with commentary on performance, variances, risks and opportunities. Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying key business drivers. Partner with operational and supply chain teams, providing insight and challenge to support decision-making. Present financial results at site reviews and operational meetings. Support the CAPEX approval process, ensuring sound financial evaluation of investment proposals. Maintain control account reconciliations and the fixed asset register. Assist with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting. Support the development of trainee finance staff and act as SAP key user for the finance team.Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. Commercially minded, with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insight. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems such as SAP. Enthusiastic and proactive, with a genuine desire to support and influence business growth. Strong communicator, capable of building relationships across the business and presenting financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Job Offer Salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
