Alongside the core management accounting responsibilities, you'll gain exposure to acquisition integration, Group reporting, financial controls, investor reporting and process improvement. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their experience and take on more responsibility within a business that is moving quickly.
Description
You'll take responsibility for a broad range of finance activities, including:
- Preparing monthly management accounts across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis
- Supporting Board reporting and investor reporting
- Supporting the annual audit process and working closely with external auditors
- Assisting with VAT, statutory reporting and other compliance requirements
- Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the Group
- Helping to bring acquired businesses into standard finance processes, systems and controls
Profile
You could be a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant coming from practice, looking to make your first move into industry, or someone who has qualified in industry and has strong management accounting experience.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience preparing or auditing management and/or statutory accounts
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Good Excel and finance systems skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and problem-solving approach
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
