This role will oversee and deliver IT projects and services within the life science industry, ensuring compliance with standards. As an IT Project Manager & Process Improvement Specialist, you will partner with the manufacturing site to deliver compliant, on‑time, and value‑driven IT outcomes. You will own the hands‑on, end‑to‑end delivery of IT initiatives, including new system implementations, upgrades, IT changes, and service improvements, ensuring delivery to time, cost, quality, and compliance standards.

  • Own the end‑to‑end, hands‑on delivery of IT initiatives, accountable for outcomes delivered to agreed time, cost, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Lead day‑to‑day execution of projects and changes, including new system implementations, upgrades, IT changes, and targeted process or service improvements.
  • Translate manufacturing site priorities into executable delivery plans, in alignment with the Senior Manager.
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and issues, taking decisive action to protect timelines and outcomes.
  • Lead cross‑functional delivery teams and vendors, driving progress, resolving blockers, and ensuring accountability.
  • Ensure compliance across all delivery activities, including impact assessment, validation, documentation, and change control.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices to increase reliability, efficiency, and business value.
  • Partner with the Business System Managers, who own incident and change management, to maintain compliant and reliable site IT services.
  • Collaborate on release, upgrade, and change planning, reviewing service performance and addressing recurring issues to minimise disruption and improve reliability.
  • Develop junior team members' project management capability through mentoring.

Profile:

  • Degree or equivalent.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI PMP, Agile, Scrum Master) or equivalent an advantage.
  • End‑to‑end delivery of IT initiatives in a pharma or life sciences manufacturing environment an advantage.
  • Hands‑on, site‑facing IT delivery experience bridging IT and manufacturing operations.
  • Practical experience with compliance, validation, and change control in IT.
  • Experience improving IT delivery or service reliability in a manufacturing context.
