We're looking for an experienced MS SQL Developer to design, build, and optimise robust database solutions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will play a key role in ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across critical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain MS SQL Server database solutions.
  • Write and optimise complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Improve database performance through indexing, execution plans, and tuning.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes for data integration and migration.
  • Monitor systems proactively to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, validation, and security best practices are implemented.
  • Support deployment, release processes, and ongoing database operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements.
  • Maintain clear documentation of database designs and processes.

Profile

You will bring strong technical expertise alongside a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+).
  • Advanced T-SQL skills and strong query optimisation experience.
  • Solid understanding of database design, normalisation, and indexing.
  • Experience with ETL tools (SSIS or similar).
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.

Desirable

  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., dbatools).
  • Experience with XML data handling.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, batch, or shell).
  • Awareness of DevOps or automation practices in database environments.

Job Offer
