We are seeking an SMCR Consultant to support a financial services organisation\’s Legal, Risk & Compliance department in London. Client Details This position is within a large organisation in the financial services industry. Description Develop and enhance SMCR frameworks to meet regulatory requirements. Conduct gap analysis and provide recommendations for compliance improvements. Support the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective implementation of SMCR policies. Deliver training and guidance on SMCR-related topics to stakeholders. Monitor and report on SMCR compliance status and address any identified issues. Liaise with regulators and provide necessary information during audits or reviews. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry best practices.Profile A successful SMCR Consultant should have: Demonstrated experience in SMCR implementation within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks. Proficiency in creating and managing compliance documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
