Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver category strategies that drive sales, margin growth, and commercial performance.
- Lead supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost‑saving initiatives across key product categories.
- Manage inventory and stock planning to ensure optimal availability while minimising excess and obsolete stock.
- Analyse market, sales, and forecasting data to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives and support future growth opportunities.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
- Proven experience in category management, purchasing, or procurement, with strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical capability with confidence using Excel and Office 365 to interpret data, forecasts, and commercial performance.
- Understanding of stock management, inventory planning, and multi‑site operational environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Commercially minded, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
- Self‑motivated and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and builds strong cross‑functional relationships.
Job Offer
