This is an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist to join a professional services firm in Sheffield on a temporary 4-month basis. You will play a key role in supporting the Accounting & Finance department by ensuring timely and accurate collections. Description Manage and monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. Communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues. Prepare and maintain accurate records of collection activities. Support the Accounting & Finance team with reconciliations and reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during the collection process. Respond promptly to client enquiries and provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with internal teams to improve collection processes and reduce overdue accounts. Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by the department.Profile A successful Collections Specialist should have: Previous experience in a collections or credit control role within the professional services industry. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
