We are looking for a Senior People Partner to join a leading technology organisation. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the North West's most exciting and ambitious technology-led businesses at a genuinely pivotal point in its journey.
This opportunity is with a well-established leading technology organisation that boasts a passion for customer, performance and wellbeing. This is an organisation that knows its best asset are its people and how they engage them.
Following a deliberate strategic refocus, the organisation has simplified its operating model, strengthened its financial position and is now doubling down on its core, customer-first digital proposition. With significant investment flowing into technology, product and leadership capability, the People agenda is central to delivering the next phase of growth.
We are partnering confidentially to appoint a Strategic People Partner - a senior, commercially minded People leader with the gravitas and confidence to operate at C-suite and C-1 level and help take a strong business from good to great. This is a true strategic People Partner role, sitting at the heart of the Group Functions agenda and supporting approx. 150 employees across high-impact corporate and commercial functions.
You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders during a period of growth, transformation and increasing complexity. While a strong People Operations team manages the majority of transactional activity, this role is about influence, judgement and leadership-level impact. Some hands-on involvement will be required during periods of change, but the core purpose is strategic partnership.
Each function you support is performing well but at different stages of maturity. Your role is to elevate capability, performance and consistency while balancing pace, customer impact and wellbeing.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the strategic People Partner to senior leaders across Group Functions
- Build trusted, influential relationships at C-suite and C-1 level
- Embed leadership capability programmes and coach leaders through change
- Support organisational design, role clarity and cost effectiveness
- Partner on large-scale automation and systems change
- Evolve the People Target Operating Model to enable sustainable scale
- Use people data and insight to shape decision-making and outcomes
- Prepare the organisation for international growth and future M&A activity
This is a reset of the role, not a rethink of its intent. The organisation is clear on the importance of appointing someone with the credibility, confidence and consistency of delivery required to succeed at this level.
You will be an experienced Senior People Partner who brings:
- Proven experience operating at senior leadership level (C-suite / C-1)
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence, challenge and shape outcomes
- Experience within technology, digital, consumer or fast-growth environments
- A strong understanding of technology and its impact on people, operating models and ways of working
- A data-led mindset, with the ability to analyse insight, measure ROI and evaluate the effectiveness of people initiatives
- The ability to thrive in transformation, ambiguity and competing priorities
- A coaching-led, inclusive and pragmatic leadership style
- The presence and judgement to challenge constructively while enabling delivery
You will also have a proven track record of operating in high-growth, high-change environments that move at pace. This is a business best described as entrepreneurial, PE-backed and a market leader in its field - where success is driven by the ability to pivot quickly, execute with intent and deliver consistently. The People team mirrors this mindset, operating as true commercial partners to the business.
You will be comfortable working in a hybrid model, with a commitment to spending two days per week in the office. You'll value collaboration with the wider People team and bring a strong stakeholder and customer focus when engaging in the office environment.
You will bring genuine passion and capability across performance, engagement, DEIB, change management and organisational design, alongside the creativity to continually evolve what 'good' looks like in a modern, tech-enabled People function.
This is not a role for every HR professional. It is an opportunity for the very best in the market - People leaders who understand technology, use data to drive decisions, and can make and deliver business-critical commercial outcomes while creating people-rich experiences that enable individuals and organisations to realise their full potential.
Competitive salary around 75,000 (dependant on experience), a performance related bonus and a suite of benefits. A senior, high-impact People leadership role within a standout technology business. The opportunity to shape and influence strategy during a critical growth phase. Significant investment in technology, product and people. Hybrid working with a North West base. Competitive salary and benefits package. Exposure to ambitious, high-performing leaders who value strong People partnership.
