We are partnering with a prestigious, listed global investment and private equity firm who are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications into their London office. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

The client are leaders within the investment management and private equity space, with a renowned focus on sustainable investment and real assets.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications:

  • The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director to lead the development and execution of transformative communications strategies to raise the profile and reach of the business internationally.
  • They will help build the business' distinctive brand equity, engaging investors and employees across the Group through clear, inspiring, and compelling content and storytelling.
  • Craft and communicate authoritative content campaigns and points of view, identifying PR and media opportunities internationally for the Group.
  • Lead execution of content production and communications activities to promote financial results, company reports and corporate investor events.
  • Collaborate with investment marketing and communications teams (Private Markets, Public Markets, Retail) to ensure the corporate communications agenda drives our fundraising and origination goals.
  • Lead on marketing communications to shareholders including website and work with Corporate IR team on FSG investor campaigns.
  • Support in raising the profile of Executive Leadership through media opportunities and events.
  • Support in communications via industry bodies and trade member associations to influence policy change.
  • Work with Group Sustainability team on external media opportunities to raise profile of the business' sustainability credentials and practice.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of the brand platform to maintain a relevant narrative for all parts of the business and competitive advantage in the market.
  • Oversee content creation and distribution across Group-owned channels, including central ownership of the podcast series, LinkedIn, Vimeo, and YouTube.
  • Lead internal communications to support transparency and engagement around the firm's strategy and Groupwide initiatives, including announcements from the CEO and Executive and Management Committees.
  • Lead the design and execution of leadership communications to staff (e.g. All Company Meetings, staff newsletters) and with People & Culture team on engagement initiatives such as staff surveys and cultural celebrations.

The successful candidate for the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications role:

  • This role requires a strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills, creative flair and the ability to deliver authoritative, clear messaging across multiple channels.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment with multiple stakeholders where no day is ever the same.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications to executive audiences.
  • 8+ years of experience and evidence of proven success in developing and executing cross-channel corporate communications plans for institutional and retail investor audiences (in-house experience in asset management preferred).
  • Designing and project managing investor conferences and events.
  • Design, production and post-production of video and audio content with agency suppliers.
  • Designing and production of investor-focused literature in digital and print formats.
  • Juggling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Managing PR and digital agency relationships.
  • Establishing good journalist relationships in relevant publications.
  • Designing and managing internal communications programs.
  • Canva, Microsoft Suite including Co-Pilot or AI equivalent, and video and podcast editing software proficiency.
  • Financial Services experience preferable (ideally within the investment management/private equity space).
