I am partnering with a University in London to appoint a Strategic Senior HR Business Partner. The role predominately strategic with operational duties, alongside leading a significant change program and line managing a small team. The role offers hybrid working.

Description
- A Senior HR Business Partner to: true generalist strategic HR Partner role
- Line manage a small team
- Work with your client group to provide strategic advice and guidance on HR matters and work closely with the exec team to influence the strategic direction
- Support in shaping and driving the people strategy and HR initiatives
- Lead on change management activity, including a large scale organisation change restructure with your client group
- A key priority will be executing a large scale change program with a new structure already agreed, with the support of other HR team members
- Oversee employee relations casework and provide support and guidance to the people team
- Identify key priorities, and drive positive change
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Lead on cultural change activities with your client group and new ways of working
- Develop people plans
- Lead strategic initiatives including talent management, performance management and succession planning
- Implement new HR policies if required
Profile
- A Senior HR Business Partner with previous strategic HR partnering, line management and complex casework experience
- Previous experience leading matrix change programs
- Previous experience working within Higher Education or public sector organisations
- Previous experience working in a unionised environment
- Credibility, influencing and ability to challenge senior stakeholders
