Senior Finance Analyst - Global Financial Institution

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll support financial reporting, regulatory submissions and control activities to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Your role will focus on preparing management reports, analysing financial data, performing reconciliations and supporting regulatory, statutory and tax reporting requirements.

Description

• Prepare and deliver Head Office reports, management information and supporting schedules.
• Analyse financial data and investigate variances, exceptions and accounting movements.
• Support budget reporting and perform variance analysis against forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with responses to Head Office, regulatory and audit requests.
• Support regulatory, statutory and tax reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies and reporting standards.
• Contribute to process improvements, testing activities and reporting enhancements.

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Analyst should have:

• Up to 4 years' experience within finance, accounting or banking environments.
• Experience preparing regulatory reporting, statutory accounts or tax-related information.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and reconciliations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA), with strong attention to detail.

Job Offer

• Permanent position in London.
• Salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
