Client Details

We\’re seeking an experienced Operational Manager to join a well-established automotive finance and dealership business on a 6-month interim basis, providing hands-on leadership and stability during a key period of change.

Description

This is a fast-paced environment where you\’ll be a critical support to the CEO and senior team – ensuring the smooth running of a busy dealership and operational site.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of day-to-day operations across Finance/Admin, Asset Management, Workshop, Sales, and Service.
  • Drive efficiency and performance within the workshop and dealership.
  • Ensure customer experience is well-managed across walk-ins, marketing leads, and auction activity.
  • Balance cost control, efficiency, and quality – making processes practical, quick, and effective.
  • Act as the \”No.2\” to the CEO, freeing them up to focus on projects and strategy.

Qualifications

  • Automotive or motor trade background – service management, fleet, aftermarket, or dealership.
  • Strong operational leadership – able to step in quickly and manage existing managers.
  • Commercial mindset – able to improve efficiency and control costs.
  • Resilient, proactive, and able to act quick.
