As a Scientist / Senior Scientist, you will be supporting a number of allocated clinical trials utilizing your virology expertise to develop, validate, and conduct a number of assays and related techniques. Client Details: The business is a leading clinical research organization based in London, conducting clinical research and ongoing clinical trials. Description: As a Scientist / Senior Scientist – Assay Development, based in London, you will: Develop and validate a range of assays with a focus on virology-based & cell-based methods (plaque assays, infection assays, flow cytometry, etc). Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholders to provide updates. Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports. Support with writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives. As this is predominantly a lab-based position, the role is fully on-site (Mon-Fri). Profile: To be successful in the role you will have: PhD in a relevant discipline with a strong background in Virology. First-hand experience developing and validating assays in industry. In-depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques mentioned above. An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment.
