Job Description

As a Scientist / Senior Scientist - Assay Development, based in London, you will:

• Develop and validate a range of assays with a focus on virology-based & cell-based methods (plaque assays, infection assays, flow cytometry, etc.)
• Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholders to provide updates
• Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports
• Support with writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives

As this is predominantly a lab-based position, the role is fully on-site (Mon-Fri).

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in the role you will have:

• PhD in a relevant discipline with a strong background in Virology
• First-hand experience developing and validating assays in the industry
• In-depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques mentioned above
• An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment
