As Risk Analyst, you'll join the Accounting, Reporting & Controls team act as the central coordinator for risk management activities across the Energy business, working closely with divisional leadership, operational teams and specialist functions to identify, assess and mitigate key business risks. You'll also gain exposure to internal controls, governance and audit activities.

Description
- Managing and maintaining risk registers across the Energy division.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify and challenge strategic, operational and financial risks.
- Producing risk reporting and presentations for leadership teams, boards and audit committees.
- Supporting the development and testing of internal controls.
- Contributing to internal audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working across multiple functions including Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, Procurement and Legal.
- Helping drive a more proactive and risk-aware culture across the business.
Profile
We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience within Risk, Internal Audit, Governance, Compliance or Internal Controls and are keen to broaden their impact within a commercial environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A full ACA/ICAEW/ICAS qualification (could consider someone part qualified with the relevant experience)
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and work autonomously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders constructively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience producing high-quality reporting and communicating complex information clearly.
- The confidence to challenge assumptions and drive positive change.
- The ability to bring people on a journey and build effective working relationships across the organisation.
- Realistic commuting distance from West Bristol to attend the office 2x per week
Job Offer
- Salary between Β£50,000 and Β£55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- 10% to 14% performance bonus.
- 7% pension contribution with 7% cashback option.
