We are seeking a skilled Part Time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our well established client based in West Sussex. This temporary role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and processing accounts payable transactions efficiently.

Description

  • Process and verify accounts payable invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all payments are accurately recorded and reconciled with accounts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Support month-end closing processes by ensuring accurate financial data.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to streamline processes.

Profile

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Car driver within West Sussex.
  • Ability to work independently in a temporary role on part time hours of 24 per week spread across 3 or 4 days.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
