- Monitor and track project expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Analyse cost variances and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with project and programme managers to ensure financial targets are met.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and project status updates.
- Support month-end reporting by reconciling project costs and accruals.

A successful Interim Project Cost Accountant should have
- Previous experience as a Cost Accountant or Project Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with project teams.
