Management Accountant responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and margin reporting to identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with operational and production teams to enhance financial performance and control.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and present financial reports for management and external stakeholders as required.
- Assist in the development of standard costing models and review of bill of materials.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring all financial data is accurate and timely.
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Fully qualified or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent).
