As a Plant Operator, you will operate and monitor recycling plant machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. You will help maximise throughput, maintain quality standards, and support site health and safety objectives. Client Details Our client is a leading recycling and resource recovery business operating a modern processing facility. They are committed to sustainability, innovation, and developing their employees. Description Operate recycling plant equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor plant performance and production output. Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance checks. Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues. Ensure materials are processed to required quality standards. Maintain housekeeping standards across the site. Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with maintenance and production teams. Complete operational records and documentation accurately.Profile A successful Plant Operator should have: Experience within a manufacturing, recycling, waste, quarry, or industrial environment. Ability to operate machinery and processing equipment safely. Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic mechanical aptitude and fault-reporting experience. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexible approach to shift work.
