A growing technology‑led business is seeking a part‑time HR Advisor to support its next phase of growth. This is a collaborative place to work where ideas are welcomed and often implemented. The role is 15 hours per week, worked across Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility to structure your hours - whether as full days or a few hours each day and is office‑based on those days.
In this hands‑on generalist role, you will be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day HR matters across the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers, the Chief Executive, and an external HR provider.
- Supporting managers with performance, retention, wellbeing & absence
- Acting as first point of contact for employee queries
- Managing HR records, including holiday monitoring (new system introduced)
- Supporting payroll changes, salary updates & pay queries
- Keeping policies updated and refreshing the employee handbook
- Overseeing onboarding, recruitment coordination & flexible working requests
- Leading or assisting with investigations and ER cases
- Managing medical forms, wellbeing conversations & confidential information
- Communicating people updates clearly across the business
- Maintaining a positive culture from celebrations to milestone gifts
- Liaising with external HR support as and when needed
Profile:
- Strong HR generalist or advisory experience
- Confident working independently in a standalone capacity
- Excellent communication and ability to build trust at all levels
- High attention to detail across data, records and documentation
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of HR best practice & employment law
- Someone proactive, warm and people‑focused
