Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in target markets requiring the client’s solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market‑share goals.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close deals while ensuring profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical questions, and product requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, design, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution and on‑time delivery.
- Follow up on customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross‑selling.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, and applications.
- Provide market feedback to the product development team to support innovation and improved solutions.
- Stay informed on regulatory requirements, labelling standards, and industry advancements.
- Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market forecasts.
- Contribute to annual sales planning, budgeting, and strategic business initiatives.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking sessions.
Profile
- Experience in sales or business development, ideally within labels, packaging, printing, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of label manufacturing, materials, or packaging workflows.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
- Willingness to travel.
