This position offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to larger groups, gaining exposure to complex reporting matters and group structures.

  • Description
  • Prepare statutory financial statements under FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A for a range of clients
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for group entities
  • Support audit teams with technical accounting and financial reporting matters
  • Ensure accounts are prepared in accordance with relevant reporting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with audit managers, partners and client finance teams throughout the accounts preparation process
  • Assist with technical research and the application of evolving accounting standards
  • Contribute to the development of processes, controls and best practice within the financial reporting function
  • Support the growth of the team, with the opportunity to mentor and develop junior colleagues as the function expands
  • Profile
  • Qualified ACA or ACCA, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A
  • Proven experience preparing consolidated financial statements
  • Background within audit, accounting advisory or financial reporting services
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience with FRS 101 and IFRS reporting would be highly advantageous
  • Ambitious and keen to play a role in the development of a growing specialist function
