Accounts Payable Clerk in Nottingham

Our client, a well established company in Nottingham with a strong reputation, are looking for two temporary Accounts Payable Clerks to start ASAP. You could work mainly from home. Client Details The organisation operates in the professional services industry. Description Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure records are kept up to date. Check invoices against supporting documents to maintain accurate payment information. Maintain accounts payable records so financial information is easy to review. Respond to supplier payment queries in a timely and professional manner. Prepare payment information for review and processing. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate differences where needed. File invoices and supporting documents in line with established procedures. Work with the wider Accounting & Finance team to keep accounts payable activity running smoothly.Profile A successful 'Accounts Payable Clerk' should have: Experience processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records. Confidence checking invoice details against supporting documentation. Ability to reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment queries. Good attention to detail when handling financial information. Ability to manage routine tasks accurately within a temporary assignment. Clear communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues.Job Offer Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk contract. Hourly pay of £14 to £17, dependent on the level of experience.
