You will be tasked with overall responsibility for the production team of senior accountants and bookkeepers: training and developing them from a technical view while managing and reviewing the workload.

Client Details: A family owned accounting practice based in Nottingham but operating a hybrid working model that would require only one day in the office per week.

Description:

  • Review the work of the team: financial statements, taxation return, bookkeeping and payroll processing
  • Training and development of less experienced team members
  • Manage and plan the workload of the department
  • Occasionally assist the client manager with client meetings and strategic planning/advisory services

  • Hold a relevant accounting qualification
  • 10+ years of experience working in practice
