Description
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and address any queries.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and systems.
- Provide financial advice to other departments as needed.
Profile
A successful Financial Reporting Accountant should have:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
