We're looking for a proactive and confident HR Advisor to join our growing team, supporting managers across the business - with a key focus on operational teams within a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Advising managers on employee relations matters including conduct, absence, grievance, performance, bullying & harassment
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Managing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle
- Producing HR reports and supporting HR projects
- Supporting apprenticeship programmes
- Attending disciplinary, grievance and welfare meetings across UK sites
What we're looking for:
- HR experience in a busy operational environment
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong IT skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Experience within Transport, Warehouse, Distribution or Wholesale sectors is advantageous
