As Technical Sales Manager, you will manage and grow customer relationships, provide technical guidance, and support both UK and European sales activity. The role combines business development, customer support, and commercial negotiation, with regular travel within Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
- Selling Graphite-based solutions used in energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, and process industries
- Provide timely, in-depth technical advice and support
- Negotiate order terms within agreed delegation limits
- Submit accurate CRM visit reports and participate in sales reviews
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions
- Support sales targets and overall commercial performance
- Travel across Europe to assist affiliate teams and support growth objectives
A successful Sales Manager should have:
- Background in materials (graphite) or glass production is advantageous
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A strong background in sales within the industrial and manufacturing sectors
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
