As HR Manager, you will provide proactive, high-quality HR support to academies across the Trust, partnering closely with leaders on all people matters.

You'll lead on employee relations, support organisational development, and help drive a positive, compliant and high-performing culture.

Client Details

Location: Central Head Office (NG23 5JR) - minimum 1 day per week onsite (free parking available) with travel across academies and home working

  • Description
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders across the Trust on all people matters
  • Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with academies, acting as a key HR partner
  • Support recruitment, induction, probation and performance management processes
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with employment legislation
  • Conduct investigations, hearings and present cases where required
  • Lead on absence management and provide insightful reporting to support decision‑making
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives
  • Support organisational development, training and continuous improvement across the Trust
  • Line manage and support HR administration colleagues
  • Profile
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong generalist HR background with proven experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage a varied workload
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Trust sites
