As HR Manager, you will provide proactive, high-quality HR support to academies across the Trust, partnering closely with leaders on all people matters.
You'll lead on employee relations, support organisational development, and help drive a positive, compliant and high-performing culture.

Client Details
Location: Central Head Office (NG23 5JR) - minimum 1 day per week onsite (free parking available) with travel across academies and home working
- Description
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders across the Trust on all people matters
- Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
- Build strong, trusted relationships with academies, acting as a key HR partner
- Support recruitment, induction, probation and performance management processes
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with employment legislation
- Conduct investigations, hearings and present cases where required
- Lead on absence management and provide insightful reporting to support decision‑making
- Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives
- Support organisational development, training and continuous improvement across the Trust
- Line manage and support HR administration colleagues
- Profile
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong generalist HR background with proven experience managing complex employee relations cases
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage a varied workload
- A proactive, collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Trust sites
