The company is a well-established firm of chartered accountants, servicing a diverse range of businesses across the UK. They are a three partner firm and have a headcount of circa 30 staff.

Job Description

  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
  • Prepare and review tax returns and computations.
  • Provide tax planning advice to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Ensure all tax work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company procedures.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Inheritance tax planning.
  • Profit extraction tax calculations.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's tax department and services.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mixed Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (CTA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a tax role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of both corporate and personal tax.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
