Description
Take ownership of the accurate administration of weekly and monthly payroll processes. Act as the main liaison with the external payroll provider, ensuring all payroll data is submitted accurately and within deadlines. Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries and issues. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures. Administer employee benefits including pensions, life assurance, healthcare and other associated schemes. Support payroll audits and reporting requirements as required.
HR Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor and record employee absences, providing support and guidance to managers where appropriate.
- Assist with the review, maintenance and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide first-line support to managers on HR processes and employee relations matters.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, agency liaison, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Manage onboarding administration, including offer documentation, contracts, references and induction arrangements.
- Produce HR reports and management information for leadership teams as required.
- Support wider business initiatives and compliance-related administration.
Profile
- Part Time Payroll & HR (25 hours per week)
- Proven end to end payroll experience is essential
- Can commute to the office (office based role)
- Exposure to liaising with an external payroll provider or bureau
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, processes and compliance requirements.
- Previous HR administration or HR advisory experience.
- Experience administering employee benefits and pension schemes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Strong systems skills with excellent attention to detail.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000 per year (full time equivalent), dependent on the level of experience.
