Description
- Stock management, working to multiple supplier lead times to meet stock KPI targets and achieve 100 % availability to demand
- Analyzing customer forecasts and sales information (weekly/monthly/year‑over‑year) to aid effective planning
- Working effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesion between sales, merchandising, production and warehouse
- Actively monitoring sales forecasts and performance, communicating issues to the customer and channels team for timely resolution
- Extensive use of Excel spreadsheets to provide accurate data, including: maintaining customer and internal sales performance vs forecast vs stock reports; planning stock purchase demands and warehouse intake schedules; reporting stock status and clearance lines to sales teams to prompt targeted promotion
- Continuously monitoring sales run‑rate performance in line with stock availability to maintain targeted weeks cover
- Managing stock to ensure targeted availability while keeping levels at optimum to optimize the storage facility
