Description
Key responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator role:
- Campaign Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Content Development: Support the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, presentations, and promotional assets, maintaining brand tone and messaging consistency.
- Event Support: Coordinate logistics for marketing events, both virtual and in-person, including stakeholder communication, promotional activities, and post-event reporting.
- Digital Marketing: Assist in managing website content, SEO improvements, and social media updates to enhance online presence and engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to support data-driven marketing strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics tools.
- Compliance & Brand Governance: Ensure all marketing materials comply with industry regulations and internal brand guidelines.
- Actively engage with and support the DE&I agenda.
Profile
Experience required for the Marketing and Communications Coordinator:
- With a minimum of a year's experience in a marketing or communications focused role within a corporate or agency environment, we are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and creative thinker with a keen eye for data-driven insight and modern design.
- Experience in executing digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Exposure to content creation, including copywriting and visual asset development.
- CIM or other relevant marketing qualifications are a plus.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Canva and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, including Canva and CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco) and social media management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
- Experience in financial services not essential but would be useful.
